Apartment sale in aid of caverns

Auction: Stump Cross Caverns near Pateley Bridge was badly hit by the pandemic and now its owner Lisa Bowerman is auctioning her home in Pateley Bridge to raise funds to restore specialist lighting in the caverns, which will cost £200,000.

The property she is selling via online auction with Purple Bricks is a one-bedroom apartment. The auction opens on March 17 at 12 noon and has a minimum starting bid of £170,000.

Lisa says: “Carrying out the essential maintenance on the caverns means so much because I’d like them to be restored for our future generations”.
