Series sparks the desire to be an agent

Television: With season five of Selling Sunset, the LA-based reality show following top-end agents, hitting Netflix at the end of last week, new research from GetAgent has revealed that searches for “how to be an estate agent” in the UK have increased by 244 per cent since last Friday.

Colby Short, CEO and CoFounder of GetAgent, makes the point: “The average estate agent salary in the UK is between £30,000 to £40,000 plus commission, with the average price of a house in the UK sitting at around £399,844, you’re unlikely to be earning the colossal commissions to rival those agents at the Oppenheim Group in LA.”
