Tickets for the big property event on sale and a Tudor tale
A reminder for all property businesses about a great chance to network, win awards if you want to enter for them, and generally have a great time while raising much-needed funds to help disadvantaged children in Yorkshire.
Tickets for The Yorkshires: Residential Real Estate Awards are now available for sale and for those who want to enter, the submission date is imminent and I’ll let you know about it.
For the uninitiated, the event is a great night out with truly excellent food, great company and lots of laughs because those in the residential property sector tend to have a great sense of fun.
There may also be a few tears when the hosts reveal why the Yorkshire Children’s Charity needs to fundraise using events like this.
The truth of what impoverished children lack and what they need that most of us take for granted is upsetting and there will be a few tears that will be erased by the chance to help.
Buying tickets and tables for the event will be a boost for the charity, as will chipping in a bit on the night if you can. Visit www. yorkshirechildrenscharity.org/events-home/ events-residential-real-estate-awards-eventdetails-and-tickets/
The Yorkshire Post supports the Yorkshire Children’s Charity so I will be there and I hope to see lots of you there too.
Also in this weekend’s Property Post is a great tale about a fabulous Tudor house for sale in the Yorkshire Dales. It is a beautiful home with a great back story about William Craven, a boy born in 1548 into a poor family.
He had an exceptionally high IQ and his talent was spotted by the Rector of Burnsall, who changed the course of his life.
It is a Dick Whittington-style tale, except, Dick’s tale is apparently make believe whereas William’s is true and provable.
