Good day: Terence Kongolo

Shifted from the centre to left-back and proved as reliable as ever. Great anticipation and strength in defence, while he was the only Town man to show any sort of attacking nous.

Bad day: Jonathan Hogg

Regardless of what went on in the six-yard box at the corner – and there appeared to be plenty of pulling and pushing – he simply can not afford to lock heads with an opponent and then hit the turf as the clear aggressor.

Key moment: 76th minute

Plenty of pushing and shoving as Joe Ralls’s corner floated across to leave Sean Morrison with what should have been the simple task of heading in. But he missed.

Ref watch: Michael Oliver

Relied on his assistant for the red card. But Oliver could – and probably should – have policed better some of the argy-bargy going on in both boxes at corners.

Rarely can the Premier League have seen as bad a first half as this one. Matters livened up after the break and Town deserve credit for holding out for a point with 10 men.
