National Circuit Race Championships

AS the Tour de France draws to a close and the baton is passed to Yorkshire ahead of Le Grand Départ 2014, York will tomorrow host one of the biggest events in the UK cycling calendar. For the first time the men’s and women’s events will be contested on the same day with the route taking riders through the historic city and to the finishing line at the Minster. Following the conclusion of both events it is hoped there will be big screen coverage of the final stages of the Tour de France.
