There’s a slight change to the Long LostFamily format this week, as the full hour is dedicated to one search – but does that also mean we’ll be denied our usual emotional reunion at the end? Well, the omens don’t initially look good as Davina McCall meets Sharon Temple-Sowerby, a 50-year-old mother-of-two who at the age of 11 discovered that the woman she’d been calling “Mam”, wasn’t actually her biological mother. Now she’s hoping to track down the woman who gave birth to her, but as the adoption was never formalised, the Long Lost Family team have little to go on.
