A stunning way to make more space in the home

-

WHEN more space is needed in the home, people immediately think they need to move or extend their property to solve the problem.

Spacemaker Installations can offer a stunning alternative with the minimum of disruption.

While the company, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, has built a name for itself over two decades offering everything from folding loft ladders and full loft conversions to kitchen installation, its newest branch of the business provides bespoke garden rooms that will not only enhance your home but also increase the use of your outdoor space.

Contemporary in style, the cedar structures bring an attractive quality to any home and can be used for a variety of purposes: from a home office to a party room, a gym to simply a place to sit and relax.

The Express bi-folding doors open up the building to allow people to bring the outdoors in, with the insulating properties, and options to include heating, meaning you can make the most of the room and the garden all year round.

The garden rooms are built to the highest specification, created on-site at your home using traditional building methods with Spacemakers’s team of approved sub contractors.

Each structure is insulated and plastered to a high finish and fitted with a one-piece GRP roof that is guaranteed against leaks.

Cedar is the wood of choice for the garden rooms as it is long-lasting and has a high content of natural oils. People have the choice of either treating the building to retain the wood’s rich colour, or to allow it to naturally change to an attractive silver tone whilst still retaining its durable properties.

The bespoke nature of the build means that your cedar garden room can be designed however you wish. Its size, positioning, services such as electrical work and water connection, and additional features including decking and canopies are all discussed when a detailed site survey is carried out to establish a customer’s needs and budget.

Spacemaker Installations has designed a number of styles to inspire its customers – with the vertical cedar cladding and grey bi-folding doors of the square structure creating an eye-catching building. Yet, this is simply an idea as to what it can do, as the team is very much led by the customer to create a tailor-made structure.

People who choose Spacemakers will have peace of mind in knowing they are dealing with an established company.

Set up by family members Gary and Andy Eamonson, almost 20 years ago, initially under the name Spacemaker Lofts, the pair have grown the business, from installing quality folding timber loft ladders to a whole range of services including loft rooms and garage conversions as well as kitchen and bathroom installations.

The garden rooms aspect was created when a customer, who had turned to the
