The recent hot spell has forced me to swap my beloved boots for strappy sandals, but my feet are in a terrible state, with hard flaking skin and dreadful nails. What do you suggest?
Until not long ago there had been very few days this year when sandals had been either required or desired. Many of us had been sticking to our sturdy boots and trainers and, as a result, there was little or no need to pay any attention to the state of our feet.
But then along comes a heatwave, the sandals are brought out, and so, sadly, are the feet. Fortunately, feet do seem to respond quite well to TLC and to the many treatments available now to condition and prettify them.
