Plant of the week

-

Stone crop: Sedums are a wide-ranging genus of hundreds of species with a variety of flowering colours and times – from spring right through till winter. They are best planted where they will enjoy good sun with reasonable soil but they will also tolerate partial shade. Good drainage is key. Both tall and creeping sedums are excellent container plants provided that you use a decent potting mix that drains well. Some die back in winter, producing fresh growth the following spring.
