Brixton: Flames on the Frontline

Presented by author, rapper and singer Big Narstie, this podcast series looks at the Brixton Riots which took place 40 years ago. The series explores what led up to the explosion of violence on the streets and investigates racism, tensions between residents and the police and the aftermath of the New Cross Fire in 1981 in which 13 young black teenagers died in a suspected arson attack.
