The Blind Spot Syrah 2021, Grampians, Australia, The Wine Society £12.95.

It is an odd name and a very odd label for the staid and steady Wine Society, but the wine inside is terrific. The grapes come from Chapoutier’s Australian vineyard, so they are packed with flavour and they make a robust wine, full of black fruits, spice, chocolate and earthy tones with clean freshness on the finish.
