Superior quality and savings with SASO

-

The new year sale at SASO, is now well underway and features some superior savings right across the Castleford superstore.

Business has been brisk in the recently-opened first-floor suite showroom and now space needs to be made for new arrivals, meaning big bargains on fabulous products including the stunning Vancouver and Verwood corner sets plus the Henley electric recliner.

These, it goes without saying, are just some of the highlights: what you really need to do is to pay a visit, browse round and discover just how many savings are available.

There you will see an eyecatching selection of suites and accessories fit to grace any home, many of which are displayed in attractive room sets around the walls.

As with the beds and mattresses downstairs, the selection of suites has been chosen to combine quality with affordability, ensuring a wide range of budgets are catered for: comfortable furnishings at equally comfortable prices.

Among the longer-running discounts are reductions of up to 20 per cent on the Harrison Spinks bedding range – and SASO have possibly the biggest and best selection in Yorkshire.

Harrison Spinks is a Leedsbased family-owned company which has been synonymous with quality handmade beds and mattresses since 1840.

‘Made in Yorkshire’ is a proud proclamation of many businesses but few can mean it to the extent of Harrison Spinks.

From the basic raw materials onward, as much as possible of each bed and mattress is sourced and produced within the county.

It begins at the company’s own farm near Tadcaster, where 600 sheep provide most of the wool for pillows and mattresses, while hemp and flax provide raw materials for the absorbent fibres which control mattress moisture levels.

As well as reducing supply chain mileage and CO2 emissions, the farm is also a wildlife haven, with 58 bird species having been recorded.

Timber comes from the firm’s 56-acre North Yorkshire wood, while the factory includes facilities for undertaking weaving, wire drawing and spring production.

In recognition of its work to improve sustainability, Harrison Spinks received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development in 2019 and also holds Carbon Neutral Organisation status.

These sit alongside a number of other Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, reflecting the innovative approach which has been at the heart of the company’s philosophy since it was established in 1840.

Alongside Harrison Spinks, SASO, also stocks beds and mattresses by leading British manufacturers including Hypnos, Millbrook, Relyon and Dunlopillo.
