Create space at a price you can afford
Wouldn’t it be great on summer evenings to have your own outdoor bar or party room?
How about commuting to your own office at the bottom of the garden? Your own workout area, craft room or simply a cosy hideaway to call your own?
Make Room Outside Living, based at a stunning show site in Wakefield, has a world of garden room ideas for you to explore.
Shifts to more working and entertaining at home have resulted in a desire for more internal space – but that’s not always possible on practical or cost grounds.
Garden rooms, however, are an affordable solution for growing families and expanding businesses: custom built to suit almost every purpose and budget, delivered and installed within weeks.
They add value to your home and are designed to fall within permitted development criteria, meaning more than 90 per cent of the time they do not need planning permission.
“From a simple one-desk office to a hair salon, cinema room, gym, bar or annexe, the only limit is your imagination,” says general manager Patrick McDowall.
“Our show site has lots of inspiration for you, with the contemporary design creating a feature for the garden as well as a functional space.
“However, rather than offering a specific set of defined models we allow our customers the flexibility to design something unique to them.
“We understand everyone’s space, requirements and tastes are different – and every budget, too – so we offer a full spectrum of modular garden rooms as well as individual options to cater for different needs.”
To help customers with their choice, the designer will use a 3D configurator to create a visualisation of what the space will look like.
A garden room big enough to serve as a single-desk office will cost around £12,500 fully installed. Make Room Outside Living garden rooms are fully insulated and manufactured for
longevity as well as practicality and appearance.
They come complete with heating and electrics and are available fully installed or supply only for keen DIYers.
“Our company policy is to be totally transparent on all costs,” says Patrick. “That way you know exactly what the price will be before you commit to buy.
“We have designed our show site to be a destination for anyone thinking of a garden room. Rather than viewing pictures online, people have the opportunity to experience our products in person.
“We have themed all of our rooms to give inspiration and show what can be achieved.
“We are open seven days a
week and the team are always on hand to have a no obligation chat about what we do.”
