During lockdown, Keighley artist David Greenwood became fascinated by the story of Gentleman Jack and was inspired to produce a series of portraits of the actors who play Anne Lister and Ann Walker, Suranne Jones and Sophie Rundle. The stunning works are on show and available to buy at the Kentmere House Gallery, York, from today. David works mostly in pastels and is best known for his paintings of the townscapes and buildings of Northern cities, though he is also an accomplished portrait painter and has exhibited at prestigious galleries, including with the Pastel Society at the Mall Galleries. www.kentmerehouse.co.uk
