The Holy Cross Church in Gleadless Valley is a modern and distinctive building constructed in 1964/65. It has a triangular frontage with a large white cross at its apex and the interior features stained glass windows of the Virgin Mary and St John. The church was featured in the 2006 television series This Is England.
