BRIGHT IDEAS
Siobhan’s maximalist designs a big hit
THOSE of us who watched Siobhan Murphy smash it on BBC’s Interior Design Masters knew she was destined for greater things. She is a multi-talented Yorkshire woman, not afraid of colour or big, bold patterns.
This is her USP and she has used it to great effect in her career as an interior designer and stylist.
Her designs feature in her inaugural wallpaper and fabric collection. Inspired by Beverly Hills and Palm Springs, where she has holidayed, it is testament to her love of travel and includes a captivating fusion of lush jungle greens, daring stripes and exotic bamboo trellis patterns, all with a distinct nod to the opulent art deco era she adores.
There are 10 designs in a stunning array of colours. Siobhan says: "I wanted to bring the essence of these glamorous locations into the homes of those who crave luxury and sophistication. Each design celebrates flamboyance, fun and a taste of the good life."
Crafted from the finest materials and digitally printed on demand to ensure topnotch quality and minimise waste, Siobhan's collection is FSC certified, with paper from sustainable forests.
Siobhan is already working on a groundbreaking second collection, set to launch early next year. This second collection is nothing short of revolutionary, as it combines the power of AI with hand-drawn and vintage archive motifs, creating a sumptuous maximalist medley that pushes boundaries.
