Talks over job cuts at Morrisons site

WAKEFIELD: Union leaders are in talks with Morrisons over the supermarket giant’s plans to axe up to 100 jobs at its Wakefield Junction 41 distribution centre.

Morrisons is seeking restructure the distribution centre and close one of the warehouses in a bid to cut costs.

A Morrisons spokeswoman said they were working together to reduce the risk of any compulsory redundancies.
