SABMiller toasts Meantime deal

TAKEOVER: SABMiller has acquired craft beer business Meantime Brewing Company.

The FTSE 100-listed firm, which brews Grolsch and Pilsner Urquell, said it plans to grow Meantime’s sales and explore export opportunities. Meantime was founded in 1999 and brews London Pale Ale, London Lager and Yakima Red.
