Minogue on top and bottom of her popular appeal
SHE IS renowned for her enduring beauty as much as her longevity in the notoriously fickle world of pop music.
And Kylie Minogue has credited very high heels and great lighting for her muchlauded bottom – and maintained she does not mind a man having “a bit of a paunch”, grey hair, or even no hair at all.
The Australian pop star, who famously wore tiny gold hotpants in the video for her hit Spinning Around, says she is a “romantic”, and added: “I would like to find someone.”
The 46-year-old, whose successful career has spanned almost three decades, also claimed there are moments on tour when her “blood starts to boil” if she, for example, sees one of her dancers miss a few steps.

She said her bottom is “its own entity”, adding: “I think of it as something entirely separate to me. Probably the reason for it is the fact I’ve spent most of my adult life dancing around in very high heels.
“If I’m ever honestly asked to explain my job I’d say I was a high-heel stunt woman.”
She said the other secret is great lighting, adding: “I always make sure I am best friends with the lighting man on any shoot I do.”
The former Neighbours soap star, who is single, also said she likes being in love, and said: “I don’t mind grey hair, I don’t mind bald or balding. I don’t even mind a bit of a paunch. Maybe too good-looking is where I’ve been going wrong.”
