Change under spotlight at free breakfast forum

-

LEADING INNOVATION and change will be the theme of the next Innovation Network to be held early next month.

The free breakfast event, delivered by Leeds Beckett University in partnership with The Yorkshire Post, focuses on innovation as a key driver for growth and sustainability – as well as the challenges faced by businesses looking to innovate.

The speakers for the forthcoming event include the Institute of Directors’ regional director Natalie Sykes, Journey Further’s founder and chief executive Robin Skidmore, plus Lorraine Goodhand and Professor Martin Reynolds, from Leeds Business School.

It will be chaired by The Yorkshire Post’s business editor Mark Casci, who said: “These events routinely attract a large audience who get to hear valuable information that can help any business person, no matter which sector they operate in.

“Innovation will be crucial to our economic development and I am looking forward to hearing what our speakers have to say.”

In addition to hearing from expert speakers, the Innovation Network offers a great opportunity for knowledge exchange and to gain new business contacts. Events are targeted at businesses, policy makers and anyone interested in innovation, technology and future trends.

The next Innovation Network event will take place at 8.30am at The Yorkshire Post offices and is free to attend. The full address is The Yorkshire Post, Parkinson Suite, 26 Whitehall Road, Leeds, LS12 1BE.

Refreshments and pastries will be served with car parks situated on Whitehall Road. The event is also supported and sponsored by TechNorth.
