School unveils sixth-form plans

A Rotherham school that was facing closure two years ago plans to introduce a sixth form which will help ease the squeeze on places. Abbey Special School, run by the Nexus Multi Academy Trust, will include sixth-form provision from September, with support from Rotherham Council. The school went from inadequate to good in less than a year.
