Saint’s fireworks blast kills 14 people

An errant banger landed among fireworks being stored for a religious festival and set off a powerful explosion at a home in central Mexico, killing at least 14 people and injuring 22 more.

Eleven children were among the dead in Monday night’s blast in the town of San Isidro.

The banger was launched from a saint’s procession outside.
