Tories ‘set for 4pc vote rise’
THE CONSERVATIVES could see a four point rise in their share of the vote in Yorkshire, new research suggests.
A poll conducted on newspaper websites in partnership with Google Surveys suggests the Conservatives will increase their vote share from 29.7 per cent in 2015 to 33.7 per cent.
The research suggests Labour’s vote in Yorkshire will hold up at 41.1 per cent while the Lib Dems will continue to hover at around eight per cent.
Ukip, the survey suggests, will fall from more than 10 per cent to less than eight per cent.
The results are based on 9,741 surveys completed nationwide.
