Mother says son ‘jolted’

A MOTHER has described how her young son was rescued after falling into a water ride at Drayton Manor -–four years before Leicester schoolgirl Evha Jannath died on the same ride.

Vicky Treacy said her son Patrick, 10, was “jolted” out of his boat on the Splash Canyon at the theme park in 2013. She said he was half-standing up on the ride when he was thrown “head-first” into the water. He was later pulled to safety by a member of the public.
