Fraud charge after ‘fake bank card’ use

NORTH YORKSHIRE: A man in his 20s has been charged with fraud offences after two incidents at Exelby Services on the A19 near Northallerton.

An attempt was made on Monday to buy 15 packets of cigarettes from the northbound services with a suspected fake bank card. A similar incident took place on the same day at the southbound services. Police made an arrest after a car was stopped in Skelton-on-Ure, near Boroughbridge.
