Top speakers lined up for Innovation event

SUPPORT AND funding opportunit­ies for businesses looking to export will be the topic of the next breakfast summit hosted by Leeds Beckett University and The Yorkshire Post.

The next Innovation Network event, to be held at The Yorkshire Post offices on June 7, will offer those attending tips and tools on how to grow their businesses through exportatio­n.

It will feature a number of expert speakers, including Andrew Marran, the university’s business developmen­t manager; Andrew Joy, director of internatio­nal banking at Santander; Ian Harris, chief executive of Search Laboratory; Nozar Alikhaniza­deh, managing director of Kavendor and Eve Husband, internatio­nal trade advisor at the Department of Internatio­nal Trade.

Post. In addition to hearing from expert speakers, the Innovation Network offers a great opportunit­y for knowledge exchange and to gain new business contacts. Events are free to attend and are targeted at businesses, policy makers and anyone interested in innovation, technology and future trends.
