Roman theme for museum takeover

Pupils from Sitwell Junior School will be showcasing their Roman work at Clifton Park Museum on Friday as part of national museum ‘takeover day’.

Work, inspired by a previous visit, includes Roman settlement sketches, mosaics, Roman shields, pictures and newspaper reports about the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii.

Takeover day sees museums and galleries taken over by children and teenagers.
