Region’s graduates are low earners
Yorkshire and the Humber is the third-lowestearning region in the UK for graduates, with those born locally expecting to earn just £17,300 after the first year and £29,600 after a decade.
Data analysed by Propillo shows birthplace affects how much graduates earn, regardless of where they went to university. Those born in the North-East earn least and can expect a wage of £29,200 a decade after graduating – in contrast to Londoners who can expect £35,600.
