Boy, 10, dies at scout camp
A 10-YEAR-OLD boy has died after falling ill at a scout camp in Sheffield.
The youngster, who has not yet been named, fell ill at a scout camp last Sunday afternoon and was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
He had been on a scout camp at the Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre, White Lane, Chapeltown, Sheffield, when he fell ill.
South Yorkshire Police said the young boy went into a cardiac arrest at the scout camp. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Children from across South Yorkshire attend events and camps at the popular activity centre every year.
