Town homes plan set for green light

An application to build more than 100 houses in the town looks set to be approved next week.

The plans, set to go before Leeds City Council’s north and east plans panel, could see 119 houses built on land off Walton Road. But locals have objected, claiming the development would put a strain on the area’s infrastructure, as well as causing traffic delays in certain areas.
