£70,000 revamp for public toilets

Tens of thousands of pounds are being invested in public toilets in one of the North of England’s most popular destinations.

York Council announced yesterday that £70,000 will be spent to revamp the Silver Street and Coppergate public conveniences in the city centre.

Work on the improvements will start on Monday next week and continue into December.
