Sangalli recovering after mild stroke

Real Sociedad midfielder Luca Sangalli is recovering in hospital after suffering a mild stroke.

The 23-year-old was rushed to hospital on Wednesday, but the news yesterday was encouraging.

A club statement said: “He has spent the night well, has slept well, has risen with hunger and has eaten without problems.”

Sangalli has made six appearances this season, the last of them in Saturday’s 2-0 loss at Atletico Madrid.
