Robertson, Selby produce a thriller
Neil Robertson overcame world number one Mark Selby in a thrilling quarter-final at the International Championship in Daqing.
The Australian won 6-4 in a clash he described as “one of the greatest matches I’ve been involved in” in an Instagram post.
Selby led 4-2 after an opening six frames that included three breaks of over 130 – 137 and 133 from the Englishman and 135 from Robertson.
But Robertson reeled off the next four to book a place in the semi-finals. Jack Lisowski will face Robertson in the semi-final after he beat Judd Trump 6-2.
The other semi will see Mark Allen face Matthew Stevens. They beat Ali Carter and Martin O’Donnell, respectively.
