Thieves in failed ‘boulder’ break-in
Thieves failed to break into a shop after hurling a boulder to try and gain entry.
The attempted burglary, at Heathcote Antiques in Skipton Road, Cross Hills, happened at about 12.10am yesterday
Police said the offenders used a “large boulder” in an effort to smash a window. They failed to break into the property and fled on a scooter, North Yorkshire Police said.
