Suspect package is sent to judge

A suspect package containing white powder which was delivered to Leeds Crown Court was addressed to a judge.

The package was addressed to judge Geoffrey Marson, QC. Emergency services were called to the court on Oxford Row in Leeds at 11.44am yesterday over a “suspect item of mail”. The building was not evacuated and the courts continued to function as usual.
