Town’s swimming pool to reopen after repairs

A town’s swimming pool will reopen in December after refurbishments.

Work on the roof at the pool, on Denton Road, began in July. Once work began it was revealed the whole roof needed replacing.

The pool opened in 1974. During the closure the open-air Lido remained opened and 44,000 people have visited the Lido this year.
