Par­ents not mak­ing le­gal pro­vi­sion

Al­most two thirds (65 per cent) of par­ents have made no le­gal pro­vi­sion for who would raise their chil­dren if they were no longer able to care for them, new re­search from Di­rect Line Life In­sur­ance re­veals.

Al­most a third (31 per cent) of those who have dis­cussed the is­sue wouldn’t give the per­son rais­ing their chil­dren ac­cess to money from their es­tate, 30 per cent would rather leave it in trust for their chil­dren.
