Amazed Redknapp is king of the jungle

HARRY REDKNAPP has won this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The football manager said he was “amazed”.

“I’m amazed I survived three weeks,” he said.

He said when he arrived on the show he was worried he would have nothing in common with his fellow campers but that they had helped him make it through.

“They’ve pulled me up hills, they’ve dragged me through the water,” he laughed.

Runner-up Emily Atack said she was “honoured” to have been in the final alongside Redknapp, who she said was a “worthy winner”. “Can I be the jungle princess?” she asked.

The I’m A Celebrity finalists had to brave a series of gruelling Bushtucker trials to win a feast for their last night in the camp. In third place was Torchwood star John Barrowan.
