Recognition for young sports star

SHEFFIELD: A secondary school student has been honoured for her commitment to sport, taking top accolade in a city-wide annual competition.

Lacie Dodsworth, in Year 10 at Sheffield Springs Academy, has been presented with a special achievement award at the Sheffield Federation for School Sports’ annual awards ceremony.

She has been described as a “credit to the school”, and recognised for her coaching skills and for commitments to pupils’ sporting success.
