New members for city youth council

YORK: The city’s youth council is seeking new members to be the voice of young adults in consultations and campaigns.

Members, aged between 11 and 18, support national ballots, as well as contributing on local and regional issues. Coun Keith Myers, executive member for children and young people, said: “York Youth Council is such a great opportunity for young people who want to make a positive contribution to the city.”
