New members for city youth council

YORK: The city’s youth council is seeking new members to be the voice of young adults in consultati­ons and campaigns.

Members, aged between 11 and 18, support national ballots, as well as contributi­ng on local and regional issues. Coun Keith Myers, executive member for children and young people, said: “York Youth Council is such a great opportunit­y for young people who want to make a positive contributi­on to the city.”
