Hotel chain cancels charity booking for homeless people over Christmas

Andrew Ellis. Why should the hotel be ashamed of itself? At the end they are a business. So come on then, people of Hull. Open your own doors to the homeless rather than passing hypocritic­al remarks and passing responsibi­lity on to a business.

Glenbo O’Donnell. That’s a hotel chain I will not use again.

Jack Ashton. I wonder if the irony of innkeepers turning away those in need at Christmas is lost on the owners of this hotel.
