3G sports pitch open to local clubs

GROUNDS: A new £900,000 sports pitch at The Grammar School at Leeds is bringing a boost to local clubs and teams as well as the school’s own pupils.

The 3G pitch, at the Alwoodley Gates campus, is set to standards used by World Rugby and includes floodlighting, a spectator area and new changing rooms.

Local groups including tag rugby league and community football clubs are now making the most of it, as a facility for junior and adult players.
