Mine collapse kills 21 and injures 66

CHINA: Twenty-one coal miners were killed when a mine collapsed in the north of the country, state media has reported.

The disaster occurred on Saturday in Shenmu in Shaanxi province in the heart of the country’s coalmining belt. Sixty-six other miners were rescued, the city government said in a statement.
