Duckenfield trial is adjourned
COURT: The summing up in the trial of Hillsborough match commander David Duckenfield was adjourned after a juror was taken to hospital.
The case at Preston Crown Court was adjourned yesterday afternoon, midway through judge Sir Peter Openshaw’s summing up of the six-week trial.
Duckenfield, 75, denies the gross negligence manslaughter of 95 supporters who died after a crush on the terrace at the FA Cup semi-final on April 15, 1989.
