Two killed as tree crashes on to car

TRAGEDY: Two people have died after a tree fell on a car.

The vehicle was on the B4077 at Stanway Hill, near the Cotswolds town of Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, on Thursday. Police said they were informed of the incident by the ambulance service at 10.15pm.

Gloucestershire County Council said: “We are shocked and saddened by this awful accident.”
