‘No further action’ after death of girl, 13

MANSFIELD: No further action will be taken by authorities over the death of a 13-year-old girl, following a review by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

An inquest heard several opportunities were missed to help teenager Amber Peat, found hanged near her home in the Nottinghamshire town, in June 2015 following a family argument. The CPS said there was “insufficient evidence” to bring any prosecutions.
