Football stars aid disability charity
SUPPORT: Leeds United firstteam stars Ben White and Barry Douglas are helping a disability charity.
The club’s charity works with Leeds-based Sunshine and Smiles, a football group for children with Down syndrome, to help run games, competitions and physical activity, plus holiday camps.
Joanna Rowlands, founder of Sunshine and Smiles and mother of 10-year-old Freddie who has Down syndrome, said: “The Leeds United Foundation have been brilliant for us.”
