Children’s plea for library volunteers

SHEFFIELD: Children have called for more staff at their local library so they can have more reading lessons.

Two pupils from Bankwood Community Primary School, in Gleadless Valley, Sheffield, urged councillors to help.

Coun Mary Lea listened to the children and told Sheffield Council’s full council meeting she would try to get more volunteers to help.
