ABP warns of job losses

PORT OPERATOR ABP yesterday warned of job losses in the Humber region as it undertakes a “major restructure” of its business.

The organisation, which employs 1,000 people across ports in Hull, Goole, Grimsby and Immingham, said it had launched a review of costs.

It said it would make both compulsory and voluntary redundancies “across most of the Humber functions” as it creates a modern structure.
