Woman held after two struck by car

WEST YORKSHIRE: A 44-yearold woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after two people were hit by a car.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and a woman were seriously injured in the incident at Allerton Bywater, near Leeds, on Thursday.

The two people injured were a 70-year-old man and a woman aged 67 who were struck by an Audi TT on Leeds Road.
